Labrador Retriever

Dempsey CGC, Labrador Retreiver

On May 22, 2011, three dogs and their handlers earned the American Kennel Club’s (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) distinction at Lil Nell’s Pet Salon, in Walled Lake, Michigan after having participated in Michael Burkey’s Remote Adventures dog training class:

  • Dempsey, Labrador Retriever and Craig Grissom of Rochester Hills, Michigan
  • Maggie, Belgian Malinois and Barbara Schilke of Allen Park, Michigan
  • Stella, American Mastiff and Todd Aston of Commerce Township, Michigan
  • Belgian Malinois CGC

Not only did they pass the minimum requirements of the CGC, but all three dogs were doing out of sight and long stays, heeling off leash and coming to their owners when called off leash. Congratulations to all!
